Overview: This high technology client needed an briefing and conference facility for its external client presentations and internal staff and project meetings. The CEBC project was designed to meet these needs and included 4 fixed conference rooms with seating capacity for 30 people per room and one large lecture hall room which could be divided into three smaller rooms if needed. All rooms used state-of-the-art technology including either LCD projectors or plasma panels, touch-screen control systems, and top-end audio-visual equipment. Responsible for design of rooms, construction project management, budget control, and selection of interior finishes and furnishings.

Prototype Manufacturing Facility

Timeline: 1.5 years (planning through FDA validation)

Role: Consulting Project Manager

Overview: A prototype manufacturing facility was built for this client in just over nine months. Space was designed to meet FDA validation requirements as well as client clinical supply delivery targets. Responsible for interior construction project management, furnishings management, and documentation control for validation process.

Technical Operations Center / Network Operations Control Center

Overview: This Network Operations Control Center (NOC) was designed for a high technology client and consisted of network closets for their campus as well as a physical monitoring center for all of their global networks. Responsible for furnishings, cable contract management, and interior design and build-out management.

Data Center

Role: Consulting Project Manager

Overview: The high technology client funding this data center project was under significant time and third-party constraints to complete this build out. Serving as a consulting project manager, worked with various internal and external constituencies and vendors to ensure an on-time, at-budget delivery. Coordinated the installation of a diesel powered generator (which required a crane to hoist it over the four story building), the installation of dark fiber into the building, the installation of a raised floor, cabling, mounting racks, high-end security systems (palm readers, prox ID badging, and remote alert systems), and a non-water based fire suppression system.
