PhD
- Instructional Technology
In the Fall of 2001 I began work on a doctorate in Instructional Technology with the College of Education at Georgia State University. This section provides specific information about those studies, access to course of study and course description information as well as samples of work produced in the pursuit of the degree. About the degree,
from the on-line program description guide: "The doctoral program
for the major in instructional technology provides specialization for
individuals in the following areas: instructional design, alternative
instructional delivery systems, library media technology, research, management,
and consulting. The program is designed for highly competent individuals
who are working in the instructional technology field in a wide variety
of educational, training, and development areas such as those found in
schools, higher education, business, industry, and government agencies." The Course of Study section details what courses I have taken, what semester they were completed and the grade earned in the course. The Course Descriptions section provides the official Georgia State University catalog description for each of the courses taken as part of my course of study. In the Work Product section, you will find samples of course work, reports, case studies, and presentations developed to meet the requirements of the courses taken. Some work product included in this area of my CD represents projects completed as part of a team endeavor. In those instances, my colleagues have been noted and details of my contribution to the work product can be obtained by contacting me directly. The Residency & Dissertation Information sections contain information and documentation specific to these two components of the Ph.D. degree requirements. Documents in the Work Product, Residency, and Dissertation information sections will open in separate browser windows allowing you to scroll and print. Some may require the installation and use of the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be found in the Resource Center.
