Welcome to my on-line microsite on Alternative Assessment. This site has been designed for use by my colleagues in the Instructional Technology (IT-9050) Evaluation of Instructional Technologies course. It is best viewed in 1024 x 768.

The site is divided up into six primary resource areas, which I have outlined below.

The CLASS AGENDA will provide you with an idea of what we will be doing in class on October 8, 2002.

The ON-LINE TUTORIAL has been designed to walk visitors to this site through the concepts we will cover in class that night. It can also serve as a refresher piece for anyone just hankering for more on Alternative Assessment! :-)

The QUICK QUIZ allows you to test your knowledge of Alternative Assessment and see how some of the methods and procedural ideas of Performance Assessment are put into practice.

The GLOSSARY gives you access to definitions commonly used in the dialog about Alternative Assessment.

The BIBLIOGRAPHY is a listing of all the materials I used in preparing this site and lesson.

Under MATERIALS you can find the presentation I will be making on October 8th (and no, your browser is not broken, the link is not hooked up yet - it will ba available after my presentation on the 8th) as well as access to in-class activities you can try out.
